I first noticed the signs on the subway. During the long commute home, I would look at the signs and think to myself “Oh, thats a wonderful opportunity for youth to make a difference!”. Youth Assisting Youth is a fantastic organization that uses the passion and talent of youth to connect to others.
I had the opportunity to interview Zack Sandor, the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator of Youth Assisting Youth who was kind enough to answer a few questions.

Post 6: Featured Interview: WSPA
While cruising through Facebook or another social networking site, you may have noticed advertisements of sad-looking animals behind bars and a strip of orange signaling the WSPA. The World Society for the Protection of Animals is an organization intended for the purposes of animal welfare. The members of this group work to save animals that have been hit by natural disasters or have encountered other trouble around the globe.

Post 5: Featured Interview: The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund
The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund is a not-for-profit and non-political organization which is concerned in addressing medical and humanitarian crisis facing youths in the Middle East. They provide free medical care to children who cannot get proper and necessary treatment in theisr homeland. I had the amazing opportunity to interview the Chairman and CEO of Palestine’s Children’s Relief Fund, Steve Sosebee. He provided me with information about PCRF and their programs which I hope you will all find inspiring and and enlightening.

The Starfish Children’s Fund is a bold youth initiative that strives to give the blind orphans of Calcutta, India their right to education. I recently spoke to one of the co-founders of the organization, Brittany McCann, to find out more about this ‘youth helping youth’ charity now going into its 6th year.

Blossom Inc. is a not-for-profit organization which helps youth to become engaged in society, though volunteering and events which serve to instill values of understanding, compassion, and social responsibility. Some of their special programs provide youth with materials to go to school, and host events that engage youth development in our society. I had the wonderful opportunity to interview with the Founder and Executive Director of Blossom, Michele Rodriguez, who kindly shared her experiences with our viewers.
